I have already been admitted, what do I do now?

Congratulations! Your space in your course has been reserved, but you must confirm your enrollment by Monday, April 27th by completing the short form emailed to you. Most courses are being offered online as scheduled and we will share more specific information in the coming weeks.

Are you still accepting applications for this summer?

Yes, and we have extended the deadline! Applications are now due Friday, May 8, 2020, 4pm PDT. Visit the Application Portal to complete and submit your application.

I was accepted but then cancelled my enrollment. Can I still participate in Summer Programs online?

If you have cancelled your enrollment and would now like to participate in an online course for 2020, please email summer@usc.edu and we’ll help you reactivate your enrollment.

Which courses will be offered online for this summer?

The online course options for summer 2020 can be found at Course Options. If a course is not listed, it will not be offered this summer.

Will the online course be different from the in person course?

The content and curriculum of courses are being adjusted to ensure an excellent online learning experience. All courses can contain lectures, panels, guest speakers, group work, independent student research, class presentation and more.

What materials and software will I need for participation?

We will have a list of student materials and technology requirements published on our website around May 1st. For some courses, we will provide a list of materials that each student needs to order on their own. Our office will work with you to ensure a complete understanding of the necessary materials for successful participation.

Will there be social activities this summer online, outside of class?

Yes! We will have optional online activities, workshops and events to meet one another virtually. Stay tuned for our social calendar!

Will Summer Programs be back on campus in Summer 2021?

Absolutely! We can’t wait to see everyone back on campus next summer. Until then, we’ll see you online!
